CA exam dates, session by session.
ICAI now runs three attempts a year — January, May and September. Pick a session for the level-wise timetable, form windows, admit-card timelines and how to pace your preparation backwards from day one.
September 2026
The September 2026 attempt is expected to follow ICAI's three-attempts-a-year calendar for Foundation, Intermediate and Final. Dates below are tentative projections based on ICAI's recent exam patterns — always confirm against the official ICAI notification on icai.org before planning travel or leave.

- Step — 01
Confirm the form window
The application window closes well before the exam and is the one deadline with no remedy. Diary it the day it is announced.
First - Step — 02
Count backwards, not forwards
Start from the exam date and place revision and mocks first. Whatever is left is your study runway — plan inside it, not beyond it.
Plan - Step — 03
Leave the last month for revision
New chapters started in the final month rarely survive to the hall. Protect the revision block from the study block.
Protect - Step — 04
Verify at the source
Dates here are a planning aid. ICAI's announcement is the authority, and tentative sessions move.
Always
You know when the exam is. Now build the runway to it.
Pick a study plan matched to your level and the time you actually have, then practise the question forms that repeat in your papers.
