The syllabus tells you what. These tell you how it is asked.
A chapter list is a map. It is not a route.
- Step — 01
Read it once, whole
Know the shape of the level before you start anywhere in it. Papers connect, and the order you study in should reflect that.
Day one - Step — 02
Weight it by the marks
ICAI publishes weightage for a reason. Study time should follow it rather than following which chapter you enjoy.
Planning - Step — 03
Check it against past papers
The syllabus says what may be asked; the papers show what actually gets asked, and in what form.
Prioritise - Step — 04
Return to it before the exam
The final pass is a coverage check — not to learn anything new, but to find what you never touched.
Final week
You have the chapter list. Now work through it properly.
Study any topic in the syllabus at your level, practise the question forms that repeat, and have what you write evaluated step by step.
